Meet the Team

Bill Atkinson BSc(hons) DGSA is the Chief Scientific Advisor at OHES Environmental with overall responsibility for the team of Incident Advisors providing the 24-7 Emergency Advice world-wide, multi-lingual, telephone advice service. He has over 20 years background in Dangerous Goods, both in providing advice on their hazards, properties and reactions and carrying out dangerous goods audits. He is also a trainer and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) author. He is a  member of the Chemical Hazard Communication Society (CHCS) and the British Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals (BADGP).

Kathryn Tearle, BSc (Hons) PhD MRSC DGSA is the Deputy Chief Scientific Advisor. Kathryn has over 12 years of experience in the chemical industry. Her last role was in regulatory affairs for a multi-national company including classification and labelling of products, REACH compliance and authoring Safety Data Sheets. Kathryn is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Chemical Hazards Communication Society.

Sarah Hall BA(Hons) MIEMA is the 24-7 Incident Manager, operationally managing the 24-7 Emergency Advice service and the emergency spill response services offered by OHES. Sarah has 14 years of experience in the environmental sector including 10 years in dealing with oil spill and hazardous materials incidents. She is a DGSA auditor and Safety Data Sheet author and is currently studying for an MSc in Environmental Management in the “spare” time! She is a member of the CHCS and BADGP.
